Linear bearings are ball bearings, bushings, which are designed to transmit motion in a given direction. They are available in a wide range of designs, determined by the magnitude of the load, the speed and accuracy of the motion, and the environmental conditions.
Linear bearings typically use a insert, bushing or roller system to apply the load to a rail or cylindrical roller. Insert-type linear bearings are the most common type, suitable for low to medium load applications. Bushing linear bearings can support higher loads than insert bearings, but are less accurate. Roller linear bearings are suitable for high speed, precision applications.
Linear bearings are used in many industries, and are most commonly found in machine tools, 3D printers, sliding doors, automated production lines and other logistics systems.
Our direct range currently includes linear bearings and bushings interchangeable with LM and LME as well as LMK and LMEK. In addition to these, we offer a wide range of different insert, bushing and roller linear bearings for individual requirements.
